Dondi white: 51x
Often called the “Godfather” of graffiti, Dondi White was amongst the most skilled, innovative and influential artists of the graffiti art movement.
1982 was a watershed year for Dondi which saw his work exhibited worldwide and included his iconic solo show at Rich Colicchio’s 51-X Gallery.
The present piece is the announcement card for this important show. It is believed only 100 of these announcement cards were printed and hand-cut by Dondi White on a color Xerox machine.
